WHY DID YOU START DOING CROSSFIT RATHER THEN CHOSE TO STAY OR JOIN A NORMAL COMMERCIAL GYM?

WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO CROSSFIT?
“I really like not having to think about what I need to train, I just rock-up and get stuck into the programmed WOD. Every day is different and varied so there is no chance of getting bored. Because of this, I have stuck with it and have made massive progress since I first started nearly a year ago.”

WHY DID YOU JOIN ARETE CROSSFIT SPECIFICALLY?
“I did try another CrossFit box for a month, and I can say that Arete is MUCH more inviting and all inclusive. Arete should hang onto that! It’s pretty special to have packed out classes full of people of all differing levels of fitness, age and life experience. Having a small coaching staff contributes I think. You get to know the coaches well and vice versa. Someone always says hi, whether it’s staff or member.”

The coaches. They always have time for you and they are constantly checking everyone whether they have been doing it for years or are just beginning to make sure they are doing the exercise correctly. They can explain very clearly how to change technique and why.
The coaches and other members are very supportive of each other. It makes it easier to strive to do better.
